Community Hub
We’ve been part of the Waterloo community for 25 years. We’re known, trusted, and deeply embedded. Our hope is to work together to build a thriving community where everyone is included, all are striving to be healthy, and we all create community together. It’s important to be here for the long term as we live out community, bringing a sense of hope that things can change and be transformed for the better.
The feedback from parents/carers, children, school Principals and health practitioners led to the development of our wraparound approach.
Children and parents/carers are sharing how being wrapped around feels ‘more supportive’, ‘listened to’ and ‘able to trust others more’. In response to community needs, we now provide wraparound services and activities in a variety of spaces, each supporting connection, opportunity and belonging:
Family and Children support – see the Oasis Family page for more information
Youth programmes – see the Oasis Youth page for more information
Oasis Centre where you can access debt, financial and immigration advice and support.
Lambeth and Croydon Foodbank providing essential food supplies for local people.
Community Fridge providing social connection and food for local people.
Oasis Church Waterloo
New weekly events are happening at the Oasis Centre.
