Oasis Youth

We support young people aged 10 – 25 to find belonging and purpose through clubs, mentoring, volunteering, leadership and sports. Our youth work is integrated with local schools and family support work, to ensure whole-family having long-term change and participation.  There are three themes to our youth services:
•              After School
•              Football
•              Targeted

After School includes:
Hub Juniors Mondays 3.30 – 5.00pm at Living Space, Coral Street/Waterloo Road.
For young people in Yr 6. Please contact Tanika for more info.
Hub Youth Mondays and Wednesdays 5.30 – 7.00pm at Living Space, Coral Street/Waterloo Road.
For young people in secondary school. Please contact Tanika for more info.

Hub Juniors and Hub Youth offer
a safe space with similar support and activities including:
•              Physical activities
•              Cooking and eating dinner
•              Table tennis and pool
•              Leadership development
•              Gaming
•              Arts and design

Hub Holiday programme is delivered during the school holidays. This includes young people going on trips and residentials. For some of the trips and residentials, there may be a small/affordable cost.

Targeted includes:
•              1-2-1 mentoring and support for young people in local schools
•              Small group sessions for up to 6 young people.
•              Transition support for young people moving from Year 6 into Year 7.
•              Counselling for young people.
•              Delivery of activities during school lunch breaks.

Football includes:
•              Hub Athletic is our inclusive and free football session for young people in years 7 and 8 on Wednesdays 4 – 5pm at Archbishops Park.
•              Blasé Ballers provides developmental, educational and leadership opportunities for young people aged 14 – 16 through regular training, matches and mentoring.

We also provide professional support for school staff and parents/carers including:
•              Training for school staff on understanding and relating to young people.
•              Direct and specific support on safeguarding matters.
•              Community safety.
